The more you travel, the better you understand how essential are are plugs while traveling. If you are going to sleep during a flight or in any other transport, they can save your next day.

I can relate to this article except for the enough undergarments, I always pack enough for the trip. You only realize the need when the situation arises.

Good tips. I brought 7 pairs of underwear when we traveled for 6 months. Like you said, may need to use more than one per day. I found most places had bottled water. We ended up sending our stainless steel water bottles back home after the 1st two weeks. Never ran into a problem.
