Hi Johnny, your exit point is Nagoya?

If you’re NOT flying from Hakodate to Tokyo, the nationwide JR Pass will be worth it since you’re also visiting Nagoya.

If you’ll fly, hmmmm, I’m not aware of any other pass that covers both Hakone and Nagoya. :(

I am flying to Sapporo where I will be traveling around to Otaru and Hakodate for a total of 7 days. I will then fly to tokyo and will travel to both Hakone and Nagoya throughout a total of 10 days. Would you recommend the JR pass or is the Hokkaido Rail pass more worth it and just simply buy the round trip tickets to hakone/nagoya back to tokyo? Thank you so much and I appreciate the help!

We are considering the JR pass for Kansai (2 days) and whole Japan (7 days). The mininum for JR whole Japan is 7 days.

If not, which other transportation is cheaper?

Question lang po, yung JR Pass ba from Klook will be delivered directly to your address or will it need to be collected sa post office since registered post sya?

Thanks!

Aaaah, Narita both entry and exit. So balikan kayo na Tokyo-Kyoto-Tokyo.

If okay lang kayo to spend 2 nights sa bus, okay naman yung sleeper bus.

Pero if magdecide kayo na mag-train, yep, GREAT DEAL na ung JR Pass kasi 1-way pa lang ng Tokyo-Kyoto, 13,100 yen na. So 26,200 yen un round-trip. Eh ung JR Pass, 29,000 yen lang, tapos malamang covered na rin nya ung ibang rides nyo within Kyoto and Tokyo and ung JR airport trains.

Hi Mavie,

There is a direct sleeper Willer bus from Narita to Osaka. I’m not sure if nag-ooperate siya daily kasi bungi-bungi ung schedule when I checked, but it leaves around 9:30pm. If 8:30 ang arrival nyo, baka ma-miss nyo ung bus if ma-delay yung flight or madaming tao sa immigration. Check sked here: willerexpress.com/st/3/en/pc/bus/route/kanto/osaka/

Makakatipid kayo ng hotel nights. Kaya lang, ano ba ung profile ng group nyo? OK lang ba sa kanila na 2 nights (1 night papunta, 1 night pabalik) sila nasa bus? Mapapagurin ba sila?

Also, since 22 pax kayo, baka hindi kayo lahat makasakay sa same bus.

Yung train naman, there are no direct trains from Narita Airport to Osaka. You will need to travel to another station (most conveniently, Shinagawa Station in Tokyo) then catch the bullet train to Osaka. Ang catch sa train is, when I checked, ung pinaka-maagang bullet train papuntang Osaka na pede ang JR Pass (non-Nozomi train) ay around 6:30am pa.

Overall, mas ok yung bullet train and JR Pass sa inyo kasi balikan kayo, 22 kayo, and di na ganun kalaki ang difference pag sinama ung possible train rides within the city.

PERO, you might want to tweak your itinerary for it to work. Unahin nyo na lang muna ung Tokyo kaysa Osaka.

If you decide to go for JR Pass, please book here to help this blog: https://affiliate.klook.com/jump/activity/1420-7-day-whole-japan-rail-pass-jr-pass/?adid=4177&af_wid=825 :)

What transpo that you recommend. We are 22pax. We’re planning to purchase JR Pass so we can experience bullet train.
Sleeper bus or train is an option just to reach Osaka straight fr Narita Airport. Is it covered by JR Pass?
Thank you

Thank you.
